Our goal is to plant 3,000 trees each year in Kenya.
Why?
We believe that we must counteract the effects of climate change and one of the simplest and most effective ways is undoubtedly by planting trees.
How?
Planting 1,000 trees x 3 times a year
We have already started to reforest the Kerio Valley area, more specifically the Kabarnet area and its surroundings, thanks to the help of different social groups involved, as well as the schools with which we collaborate on a permanent basis.
- Community Chief
- Kapkowon School
- Kaptimbor School
- Ketindui School
- Neema women
- BAMBA Travelers
- Youth and children who are part of the BAMBA program
At the same time, we also carry out workshops on Ecology and the Environment in those same Schools with experts and professionals in order to raise awareness about the risks of exploitation of wood for domestic use, massive logging without permission for commercial purposes, forest fires and the serious consequences that they can have. for the general population and for that particular community.
When?
Our next campaigns will take place on the following dates:
September 2019 – Done- 1000 trees planted
January 2020
July 2020
November 2020
How can I participate from here?
By purchasing any of our ONE THOUSAND TREES products, you will be donating 100% of the profits to plant trees.
We will collect monthly both with online sales and at our points of sale and we will allocate it to carry out the action in the next campaign.
