Bamba Sports was established in 2019 as a Sports Project for the children and young people of the Kabarnet community (Baringo) due to the lack of sports in the area and the growing need for those young people who live in environments of high social vulnerability to find a motivation and learning models based on sport, thus avoiding risky behaviors.
Leisure, recreation and community service are important for the psychological and physical development of the youth and women. It contributes to their personal development by promoting good health, personal discipline, leadership and team building skills. It also provides opportunity for appreciation, participation and creative experience in leisure, music, arts (Ushanga), dance, drama crafts, novelty events service and cultural activities.
This helps engaging the youth to make good use of their leisure time, express their beliefs and values as well as promote and preserve local art and culture for the benefit of the future youth.
